I have been thinking for a long time (my first Excel business plans are from 2018) about how and when I can start my own business. I've read books and articles, discussed with friends and acquaintances, taken online courses and gone through consultations with the Chamber of Commerce and tax offices, and now the time has finally come: I AM LIVE!

After 20 years in the corporate world, I am now my own person! What an uplifting feeling! Fantastic!
I left my job as HR Director for the European, Middle Eastern & African region with a heavy heart but a positive feeling. I had everything an employee could wish for: a great boss who, despite being almost 9,000km away (with an 8-hour time difference), was always approachable and a real career developer; a team that I could really rely on and which, despite being spread all over the world, had a great spirit; a challenging task that I have grown steadily over the last few years and, of course, a salary that allowed my family and I to live a life without worries.
So why did I quit my job?
Because I had to! I had to follow my passion - the need to help others as a coach and trainer and do what I do best. I had to listen to my inner drive. I had to take the plunge, even if it seemed risky at first.

My entire professional life has been a steady climb up the career ladder. Almost every stage of my career has been in HR, from intern to director, whether as a recruiter, in operations or in strategy. But one thing has always accompanied me and never let go: The development of people, organizations, personalities and corporate cultures. This is what I enjoy most and what I do best. It is my passion. Whenever possible, I have coached professionals and executives and been part of organizational development and change processes.
This all brings me back to my roots, because a long time ago I left the University of Hamburg with a degree in adult education. After 20 years of professional experience, further education and certifications in the field of coaching, I have in a way come full circle again. I am excited about it and about what’s to come.
